Current requirements:

• Participate in Burner 101 at Safetyside 2024
• Or otherwise demonstrate a level of burner skills competency, so exceptional that it compelled a Scout Master to award the badge

Background information:

• First introduced at Safetyside 2024, Burner 101 is a series of classes that will be held at Safetyside and Hypothermia moving forward.
• Burner 101 classes include practical skills, like securing tents for windy conditions, prepping a vehicle for towing, and other hard-learned knowledge.
• While especially designed for newbies, Burner 101 is open to ALL burners. (These are the life skills they SHOULD teach in school!)
